WE GOT PUMPKINS!

So we decided to carve the pumpkins we got form bishops like 2 weeks ago.everything went well no gaging or throwing up from the pumpkin guts(josh every year). sean and ryan ran around the table stabbing all the pumpkins, while me and ben cleaned them out. sean wanted a scary face so I did his.

Josh picked out his design, but I carved his also, ben helped ryan with the little pumpkins we got here in town.bishops was fun as always, we were so glad some family went with us, it makes it more special for the kids(ben). when we were in town we let all the kids put on there costumes and hit a pinata. don't they look cute!
p.s. If your wondering about joshua's mohawk it's only for the playoffs and we are dyeing it purple .

I am so Grateful

I woke up this morning and thought it looks so beautiful outside, all my trees have turned yellow and the leaves haven't quite fallen off the tree. it's about 37 degrees outside and I can't help but feel so lucky to be here and be able to live around such beauty. I know how totally corny it sound but I rarely get a chance to just sit and listen. Well today was my day, while Sofia took a nap me and the boys just sat outside and tried to hear all the different sounds. It's rare that my boys be quiet for any length of time but the were really good, we were able to say our morning pray out side before josh went to school. It was a very spritual experience for all of us. I am so grateful to the lord for sending me to this place where I can truly enjoy all there is around me. Sometimes we are so busy with our lives, we forget to stop and look and appreciate all the lord has given us.

halloween is coming

ok ,ok ,after all the nagging I've finally given and join the wonderful world of the blog. (just call me a sheep). Now we can all read about the crazy life of the jensens in susanville. hold on tight and I'm goning to give this a try. I'm not much of a blogger so everythings goingto be short and sweet. Wjust got back from a great trip to sac, we went to Bishops pumpkin patch, and had a friend take some family pictures for us. Hopefully we got some good ones, it's really hard to get 4 kids under the age of 7 to look at the camera let alone smile, but we have to try.I'll post the pics when I get them back . the kids are screaming at eachother so I'll write some more later.
